Hi all, well i am planning to take admission in a college at Vancouver for higher studies. Since this is my first time i am a bit tensed and at the same time excited too. I have so many question for which i need someone who can answer me.
1.) How much will it cost for me to rent a shared flat/other housing unit, in Yaletown/ anywhere in West Hastings Street.
2.) Where can i get my food from? I cant goto restaurants daily? Are there some services that provides food for students and also dilivers it to students door and charges weekly/monthly/whatever? Or i will have to cook my food on my own?
3.) What are the taxi charges per mile within city.
4.) If i buy a bicycle. Can i bike it all over the city or to just some restricted areas? Will i require a special permit/licence, for it?
5.) How safe is the city. Coz my classes are of 18 hrs a day and i will be returning late hrs and then back early hrs to the classes.
6.) Which one amongst theTaxi/Buses/Tubes/Bicycles/Walk, is the best

I received a call that i won a package vacation of either one of the two 1) 3D 2N, 5 star hotel, round trip for 2, $40 dinner voucher in Las Vegas
2) 4D3N at one of these places, L/Tahoe, Sanome Valley, San Jose, Sierra Foothills or S/Diego and a MP4 player.

I am told to attend a 90 mins preview to collect the prize. I am not overjoyed though but just wondering …
Has anyone experienced this? Should i go? Will i be obliged to buy anything? Which package would you choose?

Thank you.
Is it ok to spend 90 mins without buying anything but js to get the prize? What do i end up paying if i got the prize?

If you can’t afford a vacation home, you’re certainly not alone. But many people opt for the next best thing…owning a share of a vacation home or condo that you visit once a year. They’re called time shares. Are they for you?

Considering buying a resale of a Marriott Mountainside in Park City. I spoke to a few owners and they seemed happy. Not sure if its worth buying a Platinum or Platinum Plus (fixed week?) Any thoughts? We have 2 kids and generally take Feb. break week 7-Presidents Week away.

Considering buying one in Florida but I’m not sure it’s worth it coz you only get 2 weeks out of the year. And you don’t have the same one all the time where you could leave your stuff there. I don’t know. Any experiences, thoughts on this?
