I called and they told me they will deliver the tickets to my hotel. Can anyone tell me how my credit card could protect me if it turns out that the tickets are not usable?

I called Discover and they told me it might be impossible to get the money back, since the broker is actually having the no refund policy

2 Br Sleep 8 w/Lockout , Beautiful Sheraton Broadway Plantation Resort in Mrytle Beach, SC where we have been and LOVE.

I figure the $6000 pays itself off within 5 years with parents giving us some money every year to come down with our kids.

Now we have a vacation in this beautiful place every year for life. for under $600/year….yes that price will inflate but so will the rental costs anywhere ( This place currenlty rents for $1500/week)

I have seen this timeshare type down in SC going for $12,000.

What do you think? And no, I do not need replies from people saying timeshares all together are a bad investment…I am going to buy one and use it forever…just wondering if this one is a good deal.

I checked my mailbox when I got home and found a yellow postcard from “Sedona Pines” and Carnival saying that my family was selected to go on a cruise. I wanna see if it’s real before I call to complain to them about how fake they are. Here’s what it says:

The ******** family of *******, AZ has been selected to receive a seven (7) night cruise for two (2) adults, including all meals, on-board activities and entertainment. There are ten ports of departure including Los Angeles, CA, Galveston, TX and more. Retail Value up to $2,898.00. Here’s the fine print:

So I went to this presentation today. I thought it was awesome.
To become an “owner” I would have the get financing for $29K(lifetime) which isn’t bad. I turned it down. I can buy a car for that price.

They did offer me 6,000 points (grand total of $695)

I can go to almost any attraction out West excluding Hawaii.

Was this a great deal or should I get my money back? Never done this before.

With my 6000 points, that is only enough for 1 trip and I can only use 6000 point during non peak season, unless I want to purchase more points.

I received a letter saying I won a 4-day cruise and some other prize totaling $1,295. At the bottom of the letter it states that this material/letter is used for the purpose of soliciting timeshare sales. No purchase required. Sounds too good to be true to me. Somebody help me out here.
